LearnTech was born in November 2015 when Nur Ali decided to turn his decades of experience in learning and development into a company that would make technology serve people. At that time, he ran LearnTech as a sole proprietorship, focusing on custom eLearning and learning‑management systems (LMS) to help organisations modernise their training. His guiding belief—“We exist to enhance human capabilities”—came from his wife Samina Saad, whose unwavering support and educational expertise shaped the company’s direction from the very beginning.
As the demand for LearnTech’s solutions grew, the business was incorporated as LearnTech.pk (Private) Limited in June 2019. Samina formally joined as co‑founder in September 2019, bringing her experience as an educational leader and head teacher to the team. Under her leadership, LearnTech delivered multi‑year teacher‑training programmes with the British Council and helped schools integrate 21st‑century skills across the curriculum. Her favourite mantra—“We exist to enhance human capabilities”—still drives us today.

Founded in November 2015 by Nur Ali Tejani, LearnTech began with a simple yet powerful vision — to enhance human capabilities through technology-enabled learning. What started as a sole proprietorship offering bespoke eLearning and Learning Management System (LMS) solutions has grown into a pioneering organization driving innovation in learning and development across education and corporate sectors.
The company’s founding philosophy, “We exist to enhance human capabilities,” was inspired by Late Samina Saad, Nur Ali’s wife and lifelong collaborator. Her deep passion for education and commitment to empowering teachers shaped LearnTech’s purpose and direction from its earliest days.
As the demand for digital learning solutions increased, LearnTech evolved into LearnTech.pk (Private) Limited in June 2019. Samina formally joined as Co-Founder in September 2019, bringing her extensive experience as an educational leader and head teacher. Under her guidance, LearnTech successfully delivered long-term teacher-training programmes with the British Council and supported schools in embedding 21st-century skills within their classrooms. Her mantra continues to define our culture and inspire our mission.
In February 2021, we tragically lost Samina Saad to COVID-19 while she was on a training assignment in Gilgit-Baltistan. In her memory, the Samina Saad Education Foundation (SSEF) was established — a non-profit initiative that continues her legacy through free teacher-training and school-development programmes.
To further strengthen the group’s impact, LearnTech also launched Openminds Education (Private) Limited, focusing on creating digital curricula and educational resources for schools.
Strategic Leadership and Expansion
In October 2021, Asif Saad — Samina’s brother and a seasoned corporate executive — joined LearnTech’s Board of Directors. His wealth of leadership experience and deep personal connection to LearnTech’s mission have been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic growth, financial stability, and governance.
In 2024, Faisal Hussain came on board as an advisor, contributing his expertise in IT, training, and Islamic banking.

Business services is a general term that describes work that supports a business but does not produce a tangible commodity. Information technology is important.
Today, the LearnTech Group comprises three entities in Pakistan:
- LearnTech.pk (Pvt.) Ltd. – Digital learning and professional development solutions
- Openminds Education (Pvt.) Ltd. – Digital curriculum and educational content development
- Samina Saad Education Foundation (SSEF) – Non-profit teacher-training and school-improvement programmes.
Building on this momentum, LearnTech expanded internationally in February 2025 by establishing LearnTech FZCO in Dubai, extending its reach across the UAE and GCC region.
